Major Development was founded by the Poolvoralaks family in 1999. The company went public in 2005, and was listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2007. Major Development primarily constructs condominiums for the luxury market but also some townhouse and detached home projects as well as commercial real estate. Major Development has received numerous industry awards for its projects, including 2017 Thailand Property Awards for “Best Ultra Luxury Condo Development (Bangkok)” and “Best Condo Development (Thailand)” for MARQUE Sukhumvit, and Think of Living.com People's Choice Thailand 2016 “Editor’s Choice” Award for MUNIQ Sukhumvit 23.
